Enabling the Feature
The function is available if visibility of birthdays or anniversaries is enabled in Privacy Settings and Date of birth and Hire Date are filled in for the user.Privacy Settings
General Managers can manage the visibility of Birthdays and Anniversaries:1
Access privacy settings
Go to Settings > Privacy in the Spock Dashboard.

Configure visibility
Find the Birthdays and Anniversaries Visibility settings.

Toggle visibility
Toggle the visibility to ON or OFF for each as per your organization’s privacy policy.

Save changes
Save your changes to apply the new settings.
When toggled OFF, birthdays or anniversaries will not be displayed in the designated places.
Managing Birth Dates and Hire Dates
To set up or edit a user’s Birth date and Hire date:1
Navigate to user profile
Navigate to the user’s profile in the Work tab.

Fill in dates
Fill in the Birth Date and Hire Date fields using the calendar picker.

Save changes
Save your changes to update the user’s information.
You can also adjust other work information such as “Occupation Type”, “Employee status”, etc., in the same section.
Viewing Announcements
Birthdays and Anniversaries are announced in four places:Who is on Leave Section (Slack)
This section in Spock Home provides a convenient overview of team members who are currently on leave or away from work. Additionally, apart from listing individuals on leave, it also includes a daily digest naming upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries.Birthdays and Anniversaries Window (Spock Home)
Dedicated section for displaying all birthdays and anniversaries. Not only can you view birthday and anniversaries dates, but you also have the option to filter them by month.Announcements

Check if the Birthdays & Anniversaries visibility are toggled ON in Privacy Settings (Settings > Privacy).
